Feline Development

When my parents agreed to get married, Daddy had one contingency: No cats. So, after eighteen years of constantly having a pet dog (Duke II, Duke III, Sally, and finally Lady), I tend to prefer dogs over cats. They're always happy to see you, they play fetch, they go swimming, they scare away bad guys, they're fun to take jogging, and they're shockingly intelligent animals. That being said, I LOVE my kitten-cat, Mrs. Robinson. I think I love her because she's never really been a cat.

Phase one: Kitten.

Baby animals are irresistible, however this little runt soon grew to enormity.

aw.

Phase 2: Dog
Mrs. Robinson basically turned into a dog when she grew to adulthood. She, too, would greet me at the door, roll around on the floor, come when she was called, and even fetch tiny food pellets. She would lay like a dog and snore like a dog, and cuddle like a dog.

Phase 4: Humanoid?

She has recently progressed to using the shower to bathe herself after we've finished. She sits on her butt on the couch. And today...well...she started eating with her paws, see below:
